A battery-powered speaker, a microphone and Bluetooth from your phone — rented on its own, set up and run by you. No DJ, no crew, no extension cords across a lawn.
Plenty of events need exactly one thing from a sound system: for everyone to hear the person speaking. An outdoor ceremony, a toast at a backyard party, a graduation, an auction, a memorial service, a morning of announcements at a school field day. Hiring a full entertainment setup for that is overkill — but a phone propped against a cup and hoping for the best is worse.
Our portable PA is built around an Electro-Voice EVERSE 8, a battery-powered loudspeaker that runs up to 12 hours at normal levels on a single charge. It is weather-resistant, so a passing shower is an inconvenience rather than a disaster, and it puts out enough sound to cover a ceremony lawn or a good-sized room without straining.
It comes on a proper speaker stand with a scrim, which matters more than it sounds like it should. The difference between a professional stand and a speaker balanced on a folding table shows up in every photograph taken that day.

How the rental works
This one is yours to run.
A portable PA rental is equipment only — no DJ, no emcee, nobody from us on site. You set it up, you run it, you return it.
Which is genuinely fine, because there is very little to it. Switch it on, pair your phone, talk into the microphone. We will walk you through the whole thing at handover, and it takes about two minutes to learn.
If what you actually want is someone else handling the sound, the music and the announcements, that is not this — that is our DJ and emcee service, and it is a different conversation. Worth being honest about which one your event needs before you book either.
